The rain has stopped, now it's breezy and mild, 12c heading to 14c.

Its finally stopped raining, its been really grotty today, persistent rain and strong winds, mild but you wouldn't know it really.
Had the lights on most of the day, the wind did drop a bit but it seems to be picking up again now.
Fireworks going off all around, a bit early, maybe they think its going to rain later.

Temporary respite from snow yesterday, having thawed. It's nice to know I still have green lawns underneath but it didn't last, another white blanket greeted me this morning. It was good to see the sun today too but snow showers started again at dusk. 2C/36F

After the rain that I heard beating on the bedroom windows at 3am the rest of the morning was quite, even the wind seemed to have dropped a bit.

About 12.30pm the rain came back & hasn't really wanted to leave us all pm! It was raining just an hour ago. I think we are forecast some more for the last hour of this year before the New Year 2032 begins. Once the new Year starts we are forecast a very cloudy day.

I feel sorry for all the poor souls who have bought tickets for Edinburgh's Hogmanay party. Standing out in Princes Street and the gardens. It is currently raining and 2C with the possibility of wintry showers to come. There is not enough drink that can overcome that.
