The tail end of that front crossing the UK is down here on the West Coast. We are on the fringes of it ... this is because T'other Half watered everything about two hours ago! The sun is beaming on me at the moment.

 

The rain arrived at 2.00 pm and it's absolutely foul out there now. Barometer has dropped but to 75.6 and it was 77.6 a week ago.

It's still raining with a moderate breeze from the south south west temp 9c feels like 7c

 

Raining quite hard at the moment and the wind is gusting fairly strong.
Its only 7c and is pretty diabolical out there.

 

Yes, some one gave me an old canoe because they new it floods here but the only problem was the canoe had a hole in the bottom but i repaired, now the flooding is getting sorted the road is the lowist point and some drainage pipes got silted up and last year the owners started to get problems so it's now getting sorted but it's taking longer because the person that put in the pipes used anything they could get they're hands on, so lots more digging when they used different size pipes they didn't fit very well and water didn't flow ie; old 12" clay pipe too 6" concrete pipe then down to 4" concrete pipe then back to 12" clay pipe and some of the 12" clay pipes were broken so nowt would flow away now it's slowly flowing as they have had to renew the pipes
i may now have to sell the canoe
