I will @Upsydaisy, thank you x ... you take care as well, and everyone else too, the weather is unpredictable and we can't tell what it is really going to do.

 

Breezy with snow showers and some sunshine today. 3C/37F

Batten down the hatches and take care tomorrow everyone.

Thanks but we'll be fine up here @Upsydaisy. Just breezy here as Eunice is hitting the lower half of Britain. Concerned for my niece and family in Gloucester though.

 

Just below freezing. Lots of ice on every surface out there and now being covered in a generous layer of snow.

And a blizzard expected throughout the night.

A tad on the breezy side at the moment. We have an amber warning here in Paignton, 70 to 80mph through the morning. Temperature dropping through the day from 10° to about 5°C later.

 

10c damp and windy, windy isn't any worse than yesturday so far

 

Picking up now, we're on an Amber warning at the moment but move onto Red at 10am.

Gosh don't remind me of '87' @shiney .. Hubs was in hospital and I was alone and pregnant and had our 2yr old to calm down. Trees were coming down around us and our lane was completely blocked off by them, we had power cuts and the phones were also down. My family were concerned as I had reached that crucial time in my pregnancy where miscarriages can occur and I had a bit of a history of them. The police came round to check on me and did so several times until the lane was reopened and phone lines restored..they were brilliant!

Back to the here and now....

 

A nice covering of snow and hardly any breeze as of yet

Wind is picking up now and we are on Red alert here in the SE of England.
