It's just so inconvenient - closing on the Friday before the half term break. What a nuisance that must be for every one.....

Sun is coming out - might sit in the back garden with a cuppa.

 

I wasn't @Upsydaisy, I'm just an instinctive panicker

 

Do you think you will have to give it back.

It's blowing like crazy here,neighbours ridge tile has come off and he's been running around on my asbestos garage roof trying to retrieve it.

The schools here didn't close.

 

They're all closed down here.

Our forecast predicts that our winds die back at 1pm to 60 mph then pick to 70+ again at 3pm.

 

Not really anything here yet , looking at forecast winds of 65-70 mph and then looking outside its not materialising yet . Snowed over night which has been washed away with more rain .

 

I don't need a trampoline to bounce as I've become increasingly spherical and fatty over the last couple of years!

I'm on Red alert here in Ramsgate, but I'm getting the Red Mist part of my neighbours greenhouse roof has gone, some parts in my garden.
The High Tide was 1.40pm and it is even more windy now.

 

Just seen the news on TV, apprently it just starting to hit the S.E. around now.
I think they are a bit behind the times there, it was really bad between 12 and 1 earlier, the gusts are a bit further apart now.

On BBC news earlier they was showing pictures of S. Wales and said people shouldn't come down to watch the waves and everyone should stay away.
Next item, a reporter, with camera man, standing on the seafront in the same place telling us its windy.
