      Well its stopped raining for the time being , I fear for all the botanical tulips and fritillaria I planted in the new front border, it been full of water most of the week .

      Its starting to get very windy again, says on Met office 80mph guests over night .

                We didn't get the 60mph winds they promised but did get a monsoon about an hour before we had to go out with friends to the restaurant we had booked six miles away. Lots of flooded sections of road on the way. At least it was six miles closer to home for them but they still had to drive quite a distance home, on the coast at the border of Essex and Suffolk. Haven't heard from them since :rolleyespink:

                            An after effect of Eunice we have lost our water supply since yesterday am. Parts of Guildford and surrounding areas too, our nearest drinking water collection point is Cranleigh 10 miles away! This morning they dumped these outside our house:
