    A fairly mild, for the time of year, morning with a nice bit of drizzle added to our overfull and gurgling cesspit but the birds are already into their morning chorus. The pheasants had a noisy go at me when I wandered out into the garden at 5 a.m. but cheered up when I filled up the bird feeders. :)

                      There doesn't seem to be any real improvement in temperatures in the foreseeable future.
                      But then it is still early.

                      Noticed the first frogspawn this morning so things are moving on.
