We have had 10mm rain overnight. Drizzling now, brightly overcast, very breezy and 12c going to 16c with possible showers. Forecast looks like today for the next week or so ...

I am probably the only one on here excited by such weather ... but we do have long, hot Summers without rain and our dams are still low so we welcome rain in the Winter as we may have a dry Spring.

 

Lovely sunny frosty morning. Thin ice on the bird baths and people scraping their windscreens.

 

We were expecting frost, but it's not frosty! Cloudy and chilly, but full sun should be coming along later and max 9c.

Tomorrow is even better with full sun and 10c.

 

Sunny this morning, with frost, melting quickly in the sun but lingering in the shade.

 

Suns shining and it's warming up after a cold start. Car was iced up this morning only the second time this year.

This morning a grass frost, now it's sunny intervals and light winds from the north temp 8c feels like 8c

 

We are under a Yellow Warning for rain until 3pm and have not seen a drop... just overcast with a light breeze and 14c. There was supposed to be torrential rain and the radar showed this snake-like forked tongue and we were in the fork! It has been, and is raining in Algoz and Messines since this morning.(we are 6kms between and from each town.... again, not a drop here. In fact, it is brightening.

 

Are you sure its actual radar and not forecasted radar, I agree forecasted radar isn't possible but a lot of the weather sites appear to have achieve the miracle.
