Frosty again with blue sky. Yesterday it got quite warm in the afternoon, especially in the front which gets full sun. The first erysimum flowers are opening there.

I've just looked up comparable sunshine, according to our solar panels, for the last two years.

Production for Jan and Feb this year was 240kWh, last year was 272kWh and the year before was 340kWh. I don't think the lack of power production is due to any significant problem with the solar panels and I had cleaned them during last summer - the first time in four years.

Hopefully the promise of sunny weather this month, so far, will help correct that :fingers crossed:

@shiney ,That kind of confirms my thoughts, since 2020, and that very sunny lockdown spring the weather seems to have been getting cloudier and cloudier.

Well, after a very frosty start it's full sun. And the same for the rest of the week. Max 10c today. Lovely. The cloud has finally gone.

A strong start to March here, the month of more light, signs of Spring, the Equinox then clock change to BST.

Sunny and frosty this morning, and set to be the same for the next few days.

There is still a foot of snow on the lawns and gardens even after all the mild days where it hovered just above freezing. It's probably more like a foot of ice because the snow was just compacted down. It is 20f -9c and quite windy but the sun is trying to fool me into thinking it is nice out there. At least there's that.

Sunny with frost again first thing, but now it's clouded over a bit.

I was glad I got the re-potting done this morning in the sun. This afternoon it clouded, then drizzle arrived and a warning for heavy rain ... and it came down 5mm. Now damp and grey, 14c.

Well the day picked up later with blue skies and we now have a frost again, beginning to feel a bit like Spring with a garden full of squeaky bike pumps.(the territorial song of the Great Tit).
