Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Zero degrees and they say it may not get much warmer all day, nearly light, a lot of cloud about, not a breath of wind. I wonder how Scotland's largest windfarm just off the coast here is doing, the ones on the hills aren't going round.

 

Sunny intervals, but mainly dry. Cold at 3c max, currently 0c.

Tomorrow it goes down to -6c. I shall have to check the GH for further plants to bring in doors.

 

I live within sight [on a clear day] of the biggest onshore windfarm in the UK @burnie, up on the moors near Eaglesham, but it's too cloudy there just now to see if there's any movement. I'd doubt it as the weather's very benign. We've had very little wind in the last few days which isn't the norm though.

 

That sounds very unpleasant to me. I wouldn't go outside in that heat, I'd be stuck in the house like when it snows. The only difference would be I'd have a fan on instead of the heating !
Our weather this morning - cold

 

Hmm, it was a frosty bright start , but in the last hour the clouds have increase and we have light snow falling. NOT forecast.

 

2c damp but sunny with nippy wind

 

GoodMorning all feels like -4c at the moment sunny than wind with a high just creeping up to 3c ,just fed the birds the small ones had no chance Jackdaws Seagulls And Crows took the lot.

 

This morning started cold, frosty/icy with bright sunshine. Now there's grey cloud coming in from the west so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a little bit of snow/sleet/rain, but it's not in most of the forecasts.

 

We have already warmed up to 16f -8c and the guessers say we'll creep up another 2c which is much nicer than yesterday. Lots of clouds are going to screen the sunrise/daylight. I have zero excuses for not getting indoor chores done.

 

It was sunny but now we have snow/rain showers with a gentle breeze from the west temp 3c feels like -1c

 

Another inch of snow this morning. Lows of -6c tonight looks to be much cold over the coming days.

 

There is an old expression on the lines it is too cold to snow! This might be apt as we have none of the white stuff but “gey nippit”or to translate absolutely baltic here. Went to put stuff in the bin at the end of my driveway and then beat a hasty retreat as unlike the last few days an icy wind has appeared. Quite hellish but at least the gritter has been along our road despite it being a very very quiet single track. We are lucky as our road is a short cut to where salt is stored so we get gritted on their way back and forth to the depot which is very handy!

 

Being that we are to be heading for wetter winters if there is more water about in the skies we should see more snow when it gets cold, here we haven't seen any but a few flakes deep even with a amble warning for snow

 

After a lovely sunny morning it is now overcast with a crisp breeze, 15c.
