Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Fed up with this cold weather now, it's making me feel grumpy (i.e. more grumpy than usual). I want the mild rain to come back, it's better than this !

 

Good morning all ,very cold 9am and a frost with -3c with a real feel of -7c ,sun and cloud creeping up to 2c.

 

Indeed @Sheal, although it's always worrying when people drive around with snow on the roof of cars. A stiff brush is better, as you can use the hard edge to remove the bulk of it first. I have the problem of not being able to easily reach all of the roof on bigger cars to remove snow!

Another frosty/icy start here. O'night low of minus 7 degrees [currently minus 5/minus 6 at approx. 9.10 am] so today's walk will be a little chillier. Fine when you're moving though as there's no wind again. Sky's clearing now and some sun appearing, but a few grey clouds moving in. Predicted high is anyone's guess - but, like @CanadianLori says, the official guessers have it at around 1 degree. Might take a while to get there though...

Yesterday was pretty much like the previous one with sun, ice and frost. The high was 2 degrees, dropping back below zero by late afternoon.

 

Still -1c here, but the full sun and blue skies make it feel summery! It got down to -6c overnight so we left our CH on all night (on a low setting). I am now going around running all taps to make sure no pipes are freezing up.

Similar to others, when I put the bins out at around 8pm last night we had a dusting of snow, but it was a little milder. Hard frost this am but sun so free heat at the back of the house buy still ice at the front.

 

I feel the cold more as I get older and can't move as quick to keep warm.

 

Another hard frost, the ground was like rock yesterday, even the stubble fields were covered in a sheet of ice, rather dangerous out there.
1 degree, quite windy with scattered cloud and a bit of blue sky, sun is trying to peep through.

I sat in the sun for 20 minutes, nice with the sun on my face (real Vitamin D added to the morning tablet), a fair amount of puffy cloud about but 17c.

 

It is now up to 6f -13c and the guessers say we might get a peep at the sun later.

 

Clear sky and 4c, looks like it's down to 3c, so dropping already.
Could be our coldest night of the winter so far, tonight.
26c in the conservatory so you can guess where I am now.

 

Nice sunny day today is about 0-1C at the moment , Lows of -14C tonight bit to nippy for my liking, anything that melted yesterday has turned into a death trap today . Think I'll go for a short hike tomorrow which reminds me I need some hiking boots, I had a look earlier in the week but its a bit of a mine field but lowa seem to have a good reputation .
