Another cold day, but this time gloriously sunny, and there was a bit of breeze earlier. Dried the washing outside!

Lovely sunny day and the lounge and dining room are very warm but the sun's gone down and it will change rapidly soon,

Yet more snow this morning. Gardening really is a distant memory.

@Perki your weather is pretty much the same as mine. What is your closest major city please? I'd like to start looking at the weather station closest to you to track how much alike we are! :)

We are off out shortly to walk about a mile to a local community centre, where our MP is to give a talk. I'm going to wear my hiking boots with thick socks, only because it's forecast -6c and is icy underfoot. I've also found a beanie in my drawer.

First thing tomorrow it will be -4c and misty. Freezing mist. Our hair could go white. It will be full sun later on, but not above 0c.

Its wont be anyway near as cold here than you in Canada, anything double digit minus temperatures in my neck of the woods are very uncommon.
Manchester is the closest major city 15 mile south weather totally different, their weather much better they is no snow at all in Bury ( north Manchester ) . Up in the sticks here in a place called Rossendale it mainly small towns with rolling hills and valleys , if you are still interested about the weather I use the met office for my weather and type in - Rossendale ski centre - its the closest I can get I can see it out of my window .

Anyway 8C next week :dancy: spring has arrived :th scifD36:

Any brush can leave fine scratches on a car's paintwork @fairygirl, it's best left to thaw on it's own. Before car washes were updated the brushes on those were damaging too.

More snow overnight but hopefully that's the last of it for a while. Sunshine all day but with temperatures low for a while yet, there won't be a thaw. 1C/34F

Driving to Inverness today the scenery was amazing, with mountains/hills and trees creating a white wilderness. :)

I use a plastic dustpan with a rubber squeegee edge to remove snow from the roof of my car.

@CanadianLori Yesterday, my colleagues in OTT complained about -15c, my manager in MAU complained about +30c.

@Michael Hewett Not that I get grumpy but I fully support you. All these forum members who try to tell us that +8c and clouds are worse then -4c. :rolleyespink: :)

@AuntyRach We have the same ice. It's so dangerous. I can't have my normal walks after work. I don't want to fall and break something.

Thanks goodness, the weather services seem to agree that things will change on Monday. We can even expect 11c on Tuesday. OMG.
