Whats Your Weather Like 2025

I haven’t peeped out yet but I’ll be giving myself an extra 5 mins to warm the car before I set off this morning.

Snow warnings active for the weekend but probably will miss us here (hope so, please).

Great to think the days will start becoming longer @Logan - I was thinking yesterday that if we say Winter is December, Jan, Feb - then we’ve done a third already!

Morning all. Clear sky with light breeze, 8c going to mid teens and sunny. Showers still forecast for the weekend. Hope so as we only has 8mm for December so a few things need a drink today.

Light frost overnight, a dry, sunny day ahead, max 6c. A great day for a little potter maybe.

 

A sharp start today with plenty of ice/frost. O'night low was minus 4 degrees [minus 2 just now at approx. 8.45am] and the predicted high is around zero or so, as it's to clear and be sunny and bright.
Had an interesting start to the day though, as the back door had frozen due to the rain/sleet which comes in at it. I then couldn't get out the back gate due to the bolt also being frozen solid. Then the car to defrost to take daughter to work. The joys.

Yesterday was pretty damp all day. Smirry in the morning, then it turned to sleet/light snow for a while, before clearing a bit in the afternoon for an hour. High was that overnight 5, and it dropped steadily all day, and was 1 degree by 4pm.

Our rainfall totals are a bit higher than @JennyJB's and @pete 's. I only got a rain gauge in late May 22. The following 7 months and a bit gave a total of 907mm.
Total for 2023 was 1,402 mm, and 20214 was 1,547 mm.

 

Good morning all ,a cold frosty night -1c at the moment real feel -6c ,high of 2c ,than another cold frosty night forecasted.

 

Sharp frost overnight and still -1c at 9am. Full sun, but temps will only go up to 2c. So a very cold day.

Heavy snow forecast for the weekend. I may get some food in today just in case.

 

Gosh my front garden and the back garden is All White! Managed to get the pane fixed back in our Greenhouse. Just happens to have a stored Fig plant with lots of figs ready for this year under where it fell out ,don't want them to get wet and cold !. OH put a Salvia in a big pot back in just in time. H :3c and L:-1 today but it's a clear blue sky maybe a walk later .

 

Cold but bright start here. Currently +2. Quite a bit of rain yesterday so everything very wet.

 

Bright and sunny, calm and 1 degree just now with still a chance of snow, plenty inland, but we usually miss it on the coast, keep warm all.

We had rain for a couple of hours yesterday evening, then the sky must have cleared because today started cold and frosty, bright sunshine and a light breeze. Still only 1.3C at 11am

 

The forecasts are showing precipitation from Saturday evening until Monday morning, but vary as to whether it will be rain. sleet or snow. My guess is probably sleety rain, maybe a bit of snow at times but probably not settling for long, if at all.
