Some cloud cover but sun showing in the distance, a light breeze, fresh at 6,5c (our low) going to mid teens with showers later. Rain forecast for next few days and warmer nights.

Still a black hole now at 8:50; no sunrise; it's been cancelled due to lack of interest. 0C and forecast a sweltering 2C later; we're so used to this that in summer with an high of 25C people are admitted to A&E with heatstroke. Compared to the earthquakes; floods; fires and wars around the world we're very well off indeed. I wonder if I could buy my old coal miners helmet and lamp.

Mist is about can’t see through the trees out the front over to the other side of the Valley and it’s not too warm either it’s 1c. Still easy enough to put a fleece on and get out the garden to do a bit. It’ll clear soon .

 

Back to a frosty start to the day(that'll slow the grass down lol), now 1 degree overcast and not a breath of wind, I wonder if some folk are regretting putting loads of these new windmills up around here, the ones I can see are not going round.

 

Just 1c now and going up to 2c if we're lucky. Mid grey cloud and no wind. Not very nice. Could do some tidying up outside in short bursts if I put gloves and thick socks on.

Has anyone had the ‘snow grains’ ?? Apparently it’s frozen drizzle!

 

We're now in the downward spiral for temperature. It is up to 12f -10c and I believe it is cloudy. The guessers say we'll get much colder than this.
