Hard frost last night and currently 0c. GH got down to 2c and is helped by being a lean-to attached to the house walls. Max today is 4c. Full sun at the moment.

I think the snow tomorrow will come overnight. So we may be able to get some shopping in before. But I did buy some essentials yesterday just in case.

Minus 2.5 inside greenhouse this morning. Bright sunshine is lifting the frost where it reaches but the lower third of the garden never gets sun at this time of year so will probably remain frozen today .

Sunny but freezing, the bird baths are still frozen at lunchtime. I went out and broke the ice first thing, but it was really thick so I've put out a separate dish of water.

We are ip to 25f -3.5c and it's been rumored that we'll warm up to 30f -1c. There is a break in the clouds here and there. Mostly way over there it seems. :rolleyespink:

I took ice out of the bird bath, and smaller water dish, they are sitting on the grass, showing no signs of thawing out as the sun has moved round, and now it will be dark soon.

When I started to defrost the car, it showed -1.5c at 8:15 this morning. Nice dry frozen water like snow, easy to get rid of. It didn’t take long and OH was ready to drive to the service. Mot passed.
Sunshine all day, no more than 2c, and the ice never melt in the garden. I cleared one bucket from ice for the cats.
