Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Cold, very dark so I had my breakfast and went back to bed.

 

Frosty over night, minus 1.4 in the greenhouse, so nothing growing much in there yet. Mix of sun and cloud with little in the way of a breeze, now 7 degrees.

 

Grey and cold, the wind made my eyes water this morning. Still gloveless though.

 

@burnie don't your greenhouse plants die when it is below freezing? I figure anything under 40f 4c is too low a temperature to house plants

 

The beast from the EAST is back

 

The sleet came here about midday. I had dashed to the plots to offload a bag of compost for the greenhouse there, and it was pretty grim. Didn't stop long no point. Inspite of frost the last few days with the sun we haven't needed the heating all day at home. Just given in and put it back on, even though it's supposed to be milder today.

 

Same here 3c with rain on and off, the wind has dropped some in the last hour.

 

One of the reasons why I don't try to grow anything in it over winter, there are some perpetual strawberry plants in there and nothing else.

 

Sleety on way home. Well horrible cold drizzly rain anyway. The sleet for next week has disappeared from the forecast I see - just thick cloud, cold and drizzle. Lovely.

 

We had a lot of frozen rain at 1pm, just as we were doing the walks.

Now it's sleet and a moderate breeze from the north east temp 2c feels like -3c

 

Had a little non-measurable shower 3ish, got to 16,6c, now 15,4c and sun setting.

 

Snow then sleet tonight. Hmmm we'll see.
