      3.5c dark, grey, drizzly.
Not much change according to the forecast, but then a couple of days ago it was going to be dry according to them.

AMON (all manner of nastiness) was promised for today but all we got was SODD (same old dreary dampness).

Cold here. Temperature really dropped in the house overnight even though not even minus outside.

Drizzle set for all day. Unusual to see the drizzle icon, on the forecast app, for the whole of the day.

My indoor weather stations are set to give off an alarm if the outside temp goes below 3c. The outside sensor is in the GH and I have 2 receivers indoors, one in the kitchen and one in the upstairs office. It's lucky that they are the same make and both work off the same sensor. So when the alarms go off action is needed. I must admit that some scented pelargoiums look a bit peaky as it has got down to +1.5c, but not below zero yet.

My scented pelargoniums have a bit of shelter (mostly to protect against the wet) by the back door or against a wall with eaves overhang, but stay outside in a ‘do or die’ situation. The ones by the back door are ok, but some others look peaky too @cactus_girl. I find that most recover, and if not, I buy them small in Spring and pot-on so a bit more economical. If we are due more than a dusting of snow, the ‘good ones’ may be brought inside to an unheated room.

4 degrees and no frost, had a shower a while ago and it might be showery all day, very gentle breeze, I can see a small patch of blue sky in the distance.

A bit milder today, but not much. We were out yesterday evening it was down to 2 degrees when we got in the car to come home but at least the sleet had stopped.
