Drizzly and damp here around 7C. Just trying to shooh a Squirrel off the feeder action needs to be taken about that we'll have to check out a Squirrel proof feeder !!anyone recommend one please ? The birds are still flocking to the fastballs next to the seed feeder so that's good ! A few hours in the Greenhouse today some Lychnis coronaria still to pot on come rain or shine !!!

@Valleysgirl if it's one of those pole feeding stations then a squirrel baffle on the pole will work well.

Don't know what this feeder is but very entertaining to watch:

For a feeder in a tree, I think the squirrel baffle is the best option again but this time over the feeder like an umbrella. Provided of course the squirrel can't access the feeder from the lower branches.

Ice on the birdbaths this morning, first time since the freeze at the beginning of January.

There was a bit of sun, but that has now disappeared when it heard my washing machine go on.
Cloudy and dull now with a “low” chance of precipitation this afternoon, then drizzle this evening.

Yesterday was mizzly drizzly wet all afternoon and OH said it was raining when he came in from footy at about half past six, but there's only 2.5mm in the rain gauge this morning. Dry now and still overcast, but the breeze is getting up so the washing is out. I don't think it'll get fully dry but it should lighten it a bit. A bit too nippy for much in the way of gardening.

Under those conditions my greenhouse glass would be completely frosted on the inside, yet yours are clear.

I lined the panels to mimic double glazed. I slid the clear polycarbonate panels out. And after a good cleaning, I "lined" them to mimic double glazed. You can see that they are not flat so ideal to create an air pocket. I used 4 gauge ultra clear plastic which is quite strong too. This is an image from their web site just to show how they are shaped. I fell on one of the panels a while back and after I got off it, I went inside, gave it a poke with my fist and it bounced back into shape without even a crease.

Completely overcast but 14.5c. I went out just before lunch in a tee shirt and leggings and it was too cold. I cur my pepper plant back but not sure it will survive ... but surprise of surprises, my little Peppadew plant is still alive! It lives outside on the coffee table under a water bottle propagator.
