Just had hail and now heavy rain, it's just a shower, but we really don't need it.

... and we will be The Iberian Desert!

I will happily trade sun and heat for rain.

It's been dry all morning ,which we spent sitting out in my sister's garden.
Now back home and we can hear the rumble of thunder in the distance. 11C.

I remember waking up to 6inches of snow one Easter, it could have been in the 70s and I'm pretty sure it was April.
I Also remember a minus 6c one night in April some years ago.
Can't remember any flooding in April though.
Think about it 5 weeks and it will be June.

Good afternoon @Jiffy my friend no worries it also snowed at Easter in these years
Over the last 50 years or so, snow has often appeared in the summaries as affecting lowland areas, if only briefly: for example: 1958, 1965, 1970, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1978, 1982, 1983, 1986, 1994 and 1998.

1998 being the last suggests it almost become a thing of the past.
The next deluge has arrived here now and it looks like heavy rain until 11pm.
Followed by a "possible" frost, oh wonderful.

We had a heavy hail shower. Lucky I heard it and nipped downstairs to bring in the tomatoes before they got shredded
