Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

Only got to 29.7c . It is 29c now so we have come in as it is feeling cool.

 

The stubborn rain that had seemingly made itself at home over our region is finally easing up and pushing off at last . 9C

14mm yesterday and 12mm and counting today.

 

We get snow here almost every year in April, known locally as 'lamb snow' as it tends to fall just as the first lambs are born.

Talking of which.... yes the first lambs are here and today has been sunny with hail and sleet showers. 6C/43F

 

Here we have had no rain, even though some showers were forecast for the early evening. Lots of cloud & a few scattered sunny intervals. The NE wind has made the day feel quite cool & we only managed to get as high as 10C today. Tonight we expect the temps to come right down to only a few degrees above freezing!

Good morning, no frost here but temps very low, only 3C with cloud free skies and bright sunshine!

 

Clear blue 3c.

 

-1c when I got up at 6, now a balmy 1c but warm in the sun. Accuweather app says it hit -4c earlier, I hope they are wrong as my spuds won't have liked that. Got a temperature tracker in the greenhouse so will see what it says later today
