      I've just got home and had to scrape the ice off the screen. Car is showing -3C at the moment. I have to go out again in 90 minutes so I suppose my scraping arm will be put to work again! Then when I come home tonight I may need to train my other arm in how to scrape. :sad:

        Today it has been much colder than yesterday with a serious ground frost, for this region at least, some of which still hadn't melted when I went to pick up our granddaughter from school just after 3pm. In spite of the cold it has been a glorious, sunny day here today! :SUNsmile:

        Already the temps have fallen below freezing here! We are forecast another night of very low temps with a min of -4C. Even tomorrow the max for the day will hardly get above freezing with only 3C! but it will be another lovely sunny day, howbeit, very cold! :thud:

          We didn't get any higher than 1C today. Quite bright though, we've been out on a walk all afternoon and have only just got home and it was really lovely.:biggrin: .

                14 inches of snow overnight and I'm snowed in. A sunny morning but no thaw as the temperature hasn't been high enough. Back to snow showers from mid afternoon. 1C/34F

                              It was -5C earlier but we now have clear blue skies, the sun is waking up and the frost looks lovely - as long as I'm staying indoors. :)

                              I had to scrape the windscreen four times yesterday :phew: and the water supply at the village hall was frozen so couldn't make tea until we had warmed the hall up enough.
