Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

Thick cloud and a gentle breeze from the west north west temp 3c feels like 0c
The ground is frozen still but in the afternoon the top defrosts but goes frozen again later.

 

Still have frozen paths and frosted borders and lawns though.

 

It is completely overcast now, 15c but that breeze is still there and forecast to shower this afternoon.

 

Sunny with a gentle breeze from the north west temp 5c feels like 2c
It does feel a bit warm in the sun when the wind isn't blowing.

 

There was a small attempt at a shower, but still breezy and 18c.

Another brilliant sunny day here with the (now) habitual transparent skies before sunrise! Also another dusting of frost! Not like a few days ago when it also looked more like a dusting of snow rather than frost! I think I will miss these transparent skies when the weather changes again!

We are forecast more of the same during the next couple of days! I haven't been able to do anything on the balcony on account of the very cold wind & very low temps. It doesn't look as if anything will change here over the coming weekend either!

With such sunny days we obviously haven't had any more rain & none is expected during the weekend. This is the sort of weather I remember from all the years we lived in Spain - in fact the temps were a lot lower than we get here - it's quite common to reach as low as -10C during the winter & we thought nothing of it!

 

A very welcome sunny day - all day! There's still a good depth of snow laying here and with temperatures remaining low it's barely thawing. It's now like a skating rink. 1C/34F
