Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

Light cloud and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 11c feels like 10c

Yes we still have a ' fresh breeze ' too...love that description!! Still it's better than last night when the wind speed reached 45 mph. Have yet to inspect the garden for any more damage.

 

Damp and foggy, 13°C / 5°C min. Set to continue until it rains on Friday. Oh deep joy...

 

Just had some heavy rain showers, it looks as if it's clearing up but not sure.

 

What a difference a day makes!!! I can now deflate the rubber dinghy by the look of it. Very mild out in the garden today.

It is still mild 37f 2.5c and the guessers are saying another gloomy and rainy day is on the menu.

Several times the guessers have told us that we'll get sunshine and they have been wrong. I don't mind the cold, it is the lack of sun at this time of year that gets to me. Yes, of course, shorter daylight hours but could I please have some sun with that?

As an fyi, those talking about renewable energy - my batteries are exhausted from so many days of gloom. Thank goodness they are only for the greenhouses which have no inhabitants at this time of year!

Today it has been mostly cloudy with sunny spells but with quite a strong wind! It has also been very mild with a max of 13C!

The strong winds blew over some protective railings in the grounds of the hospital this morning as my wife & I were making our way to the eye clinic where she had an appointment with the consultant. These just missed us as we walked past them! The construction workers were digging out the foundations of the paths to relay them.

The consultant gave my wife good news; her sight has got a little better as has the pressure in her eyes.
