Reached 9c but felt warmer in the sun.

A misty night for most of us tonight it seems.

 

The day made a cloudy start but soon brightened up & most of the day there has been more sunshine than clouds. The breeze was still a little on the chilly side but not at all strong. We perhaps had a max of around 10C today but tonight temps are expected to be just below freezing with a min forecast of just -3C at 8am! Then the day will warm up a bit till we get to about 8C. I've put my plants away to avoid them getting frostbitten tonight!

No wonder you're howling @Jiffy ...frost, mist and a dewy 5 bar gate!!!

 

I'm still stuck untill the sun comes up and warms up the gate, i'm not going to try and pull myself of the gate it may hurt a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Ouch, yes whatever you do you must stay completely still!!!!. .It makes eyes water just thinking about it!!
