Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

It is blowing a gale here and now there is heavy rain. My unfinished roof is banging and crashing (though nothing has come down). I phoned the roofer and he said not to worry. There is a section of the ridge which still has to be put in place and that is allowing the tiles it would keep down to flex up and down in the wind. He says everything is secure and it won't blow away. I wish I had his confidence.

 

A gale has blown here all day too but it's quietening down now. Rain moved in about 5pm and with the temperature having dropped throughout the day, it's expected to change to snow overnight. Currently 2C/36F.

 

We began the day with clear skies but around 7am some freezing fog came down fortunately it only last an hour or so but left all the trees, etc. covered in white! Very pretty but also very cold with -2C at 7am! The sunshine was lovely again & with practically no wind it was quite pleasant when I took my granddaughter to school!

4c cloudy and had a bit of drizzle

 

Light clouds minus 2c.
Getting fed up with frost every night.

 

It's a bit crisp at -1°C but gloriously sunny and calm. Better that than drizzle and fog or a howling gale

 

Had 9mm rain in the night, hurray ... might have a bit more this morning but that is it. Currently 10c heading for 15c.

 

Always nice seeing down south getting more frosts than us in Scotland

Can always rely on getting more rain here though

 

Had an hour of drizzle but brightening up now.
