Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

Light rain showers and a gentle breeze from the west north west temp 7c feels like 5c
Got to have rain sometimes but not too much.

 

Sunny with a light breeze and 18c.

 

Heavy rain from first light until just before noon, but gentle winds and 4C. Now the sun has come out and apart from the ground being saturated it is a pleasant afternoon.

 

Feels very cold. Heat on, wrapped up like Eskimos but cannot get properly warm this evening.

We started the day with some rain but it soon finished & we had no more for the rest of the day. It was another very cloudy day but, like yesterday, the sun did put in a very brief appearance around 3pm. Unfortunately it didn't last long & the clouds were back in command of the skies very soon afterwards! I think what happens is that the sun as it is setting peeks out from under the cloud base & so that is why we get a few minutes of sunshine around 3pm. Our max for today was only about 7-8C. We are forecast a similar day tomorrow as well as similar temps to today's.

 

A sunny morning but back to cloud early afternoon with a few light showers of rain. The temperature has gradually dropped as the day has gone on, 10C/50F now down to 2C/36F. There will probably be a frost tonight, the first one for a few weeks.

Really cold here this morning, about 2 degrees at the moment, both hoggies were out yesterday evening so might not see them for the next week or so as it's predicted to be the same sort of temperature.

Persisting down but at least it's reasonably warm and no wind, so good for the garden
