Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

Oh well its going to be colder next week we are told after this mild weather we have been having.

 

Sunny with a light breeze until mid afternoon with cloud cover from then on, 7C/45F.

Snow is promised all next week with predicted temperatures down to -11C/12F overnight.

 

@Sheal I'm glad I don't live where you do! It was bad enough when we lived in Spain - it was quite common to have -10C for a few weeks & we thought nothing of it then - of course we were 30 or 40 years younger then!

East Anglia is perhaps the closest you can get to Spain & Cambs is the driest region of the UK & last month was almost the sunniest & the driest county in the UK!

Today we had a very cloudy morning with temps about 5 or 6C. During the afternoon the sun came out for a few minutes at a time & around 4pm the sky was fairly cloud free - didn't last long however! Tonight it will be only about 3C min. Wind from NE still very cold but not strong. We had a couple of very brief, light rain showers during the morning - not that I saw them but noticed the balcony floor was a little wet.

 

The temperatures don't bother me @Balc as I've acclimatised to each area I've lived in. I was born and reared in Essex, moved to the Isle of Man in 1992 and here to the Highlands when my other half retired in 2016.

Same as yesterday but maybe a little warmer....
