Very similar here but more like 20f than 20c with the wind chill factor taken into account.

Sun has just come out, it makes a big difference to the feel of the weather at this time of the year.
        Wind is dropping.
Only 4c now so looks like a frost tonight.:frown:

Blizzard-like conditions this morning! Very strong North wind blowing almost horizontally & lots of snow! The day began with rain - it hadn't stopped in 24h! Very, very rare here in East Anglia, the driest region of the UK!

The "blizzard" began at 8am & didn't stop snowing till about 9.30am. The wind dropped quite a bit & the snow turned to rain for about 1/2hour. Since then we have had sun & clouds all the time. Tonight we are forecast frosts again.

Well I hit like but only the fact you get around ok in snow, doubt I'd get far in that with my car.
We just are not set up for that kind of weather, I'm always amazed how fast people drive on snow in snowy countries.
If I tried that I'd just wheel spin and slide.

@CanadianLori is it a legal requirement where you are to use studded tyres during the winter?

Early frost but yet another stunning sunny day with a chilly breeze. 4C/39F

Back in our first two decades here in Shineyland we used to get deep snow on our road and I always had snow chains available to put on my car. Even for a non DIY person like me I could do that in a few minutes - drape them over the tyres, roll forward a few inches, loop them up and lock them :)

They used to get used a few days every year for me to get to work. :blue thumb: They haven't been needed for at least the 22 years I've been retired :old: :heehee:
