It has warmed up to 36f and the snow os compacting down very nicely.

 

Decided to take a chance and do the laundry in a minute , then it's ready to hang out first thing.
Our forecast for tomorrow is still for 'heavy rain'.... I agree it does look almost torrential !!!

 

Thanks for the information @CanadianLori. It's a legal requirement for my daughter to use winter tyres in British Columbia.

The frosty start and all day sunshine continue here, 4C/39F. Next week is looking pretty grim - Monday in particular.

Lovely start to what looks like to be a great day. It is however the lull before the storm for most of us, as the winds pickup this evening and all through tomorrow. Best to make the most of today I think.
