The forecast says bright sun all morning and 16C rising to 19C.

It is actually cool, cloudy and grey tho dry and it' s blowing a gutsy, gusty hoolie.

15C dry and breezy here in Norfolk and heading for 20+ … it didn’t drop into single figures overnight for the first time this year. The sky is patches of blue and white … looks like a gardening day

The clouds are slowly drifting away allowing the sun to push through.
12C at the moment, but I doubt the temperature will touch anywhere near 20C. Washing is on, so after completing a cleaning task, I will sit out on the sheltered patio and read my book for a while.
I did a little pruning of my forsythia, lopping off the non flowering branches yesterday so the bits could go in the bin for collection.
I like Sundays for gardening, after I've watched Monty... and now Beechgrove.
Enjoy your garden, Dove and may the sun shine on us all.

Very hazy, strange sky as we are under a Sand Dust situation again. Currently 16c going to 23c. May have a mucky shower or two ... we don't care as long as it is wet.

                    Good morning all.
After yet more overnight rain it’s a lovely sunny, dry start to the day and due to reach a giddy 18c later.
The only downer is the gusting wind but that will help to dry the ground out so all positive at the moment.
                    Enjoy your day

:yikes: Just read that on the 28th last week when we had the gusty winds, a tornado took out two prefab houses and damaged roofs and cars in Benaciate where our hairdresser Isabel is located, minutes away from us. :hate-shocked:

@Victoria it seems we are to have some sahara sand blown our way tomorrow. Lovely.

Tornadoes can be sneaky and very nasty. We had one in September 2020 that just hit our garden - not the nasty neighbour next door or the nice ones behind - and lifted, twirled and dumped the roofs off our two open sided barns - beams, cross beams and corrugated iron slabs all over the place. Impressive power.

It is really bothering me this time. I am taking antihistamines and a strong cough syrup but have a constant tickle and cough. Also drinking ginger tea with honey.

We lived in Alabama for 14 years where tornadoes on a massive scale are normal in Tornado Alley. I have seen unspeakable damage.
