Today is not as mild as yesterday, but again lots of lovely blue sky and racing clouds. We've had everything this morning except the thunderstorm and/or snow. It's good enough to get out between showers and more than enough time for our limited exercise ability.

Must have been some dust in yesterday's rain, just noticed orangey coating on top of the car.
It looks colourful and is a contrast to the green algae.

Early spring hayfever is more likely to be from tree pollen. Insect-pollinated flowers (anything with scent or colour or both, to attract pollinators) generally have heavy sticky pollen that doesn't blow around in the air very much. Mine starts in February if we get a warm dry spell.

A gale has blown all day since the wind started picking up yesterday and will continue until noon tomorrow. Sunshine and showers, typical Spring weather. 9C/48F

I secured the bed clothes with each 6 clothes pegs to find them including clothes pegs on the gravel two hours later. Good news: they were not blown into neighbour’s cherry tree.
Gusty winds and around 12C but sunny.

Good morning everybody. We have a quite calm day with 15C to expect, but wind will turn to 43mph tomorrow again. We expect clouds with a bit rain now and then.

@AuntyRach I use Wetteronline literally like yesterday only for the radar to tell me when I can expect a rain cloud over my garden :-)
Wetteronline.de uses the North Americans (NOAA). The problem with the NOAA is that they often get their prognosis for Europe wrong. Therefore, I wouldn't necessarily trust the forecast for the second week on Wetteronline.
Whereas Weatheronline says it will be colder next week, the BBC has a different approach for next week.

Windy.com uses the NOAA and says the current High over Spain is too weak to stay and shifts towards the SE of Europe and the High on the left moves between Ireland and Iceland.

And therefore, it's colder next week.

                                nextweek.png

Whereas the BBC says, the current High over Spain gets stronger over France and with the High that moves between Iceland and Ireland, it will be build a stronger connection.

                                whereas the bbc.png

The BBC Weather team uses the MetOffice and the European Weather service.
We will find out next week which weather service was right.

There is big business behind this. It's not about us as users, but the accuracy in the forecast decides over contracts. Last year, the NOAA didn't realise that border in green, which is quite stable since Autumn 2022, when the drought ended in Europe.
