What's your weather like APRIL 2024

11c cloudy with a bit of brightness and little windy

 

I often look at the met Office deep dive and they also do a 10 day trend on YouTube.
I also use the met office radar when it's showery especially.

It's cloudy but dry just a slight breeze 8c.

 

Lightly overcast as we may have a shower later this morning, 13c going to 21c.

A bit calmer than yesterday - just the normal wind levels. Cloudy but quite bright. O'night low was 6 degrees, so quite mild. Some sun. 8 degrees just now. Predicted high is around 10 degrees.
Heavy rain again for later and overnight, so better get on before that comes in.

 

Light cloud and a gentle breeze from the south temp 11c feels like 10c.
Rain is expected at 12.00

 

Cornwall is dark and it is chucking down with rain. Amber warning for tomorrow for strong winds, again.
I bit the bullet and took the dog for a beach walk. It stayed dry and was reasonably mild but bloomin' hard work walking against the wind. The tide was on the turn to come in, very angry, growling all of the time. A couple of para gliders were flying around, lots of dogs for Rob to check out, he found something revolting to roll on and then chew so his day was made. I was shattered when we got home, went to sleep for a couple of hours, along with dog.
My washing did get almost dry so that was great.

Cloudy with a high of 13c and rain from 6pm. At least the 40mph wind has dropped!
It seems the weather is due to improve from Thursday. We shall see!!

 

Had a good shower earlier, clearing the sand dust. Cloud breaking up to blue sky and 15,5c now with a light breeze.

 

Awful weekend of very strong winds and yesterday it lashed it down as usual.

But at about 7pm a rainbow appeared and I have tried to snap it.



I wondered why the sky underneath was paler and after some research it's because of an Alexander's Band. And on closer inspection I can see a secondary arc, although a bit faint. Apparently the second arc colours are in reverse order. Just wish the photo was better - I was balancing on my back doorstep.

Later on the BBC 10 p.m. weather they referred to a double rainbow. So how many got to see it?

Better weather today and I have been able to put my greenhouse plants outside for an airing.
