What's your weather like APRIL 2024

I was visiting my mum in West Yorkshire last week on the outskirts of Leeds it was 20c on the way back as soon as I reached Scot’s corner down to 13c.

 

A light breeze and 24c.

 

9 degrees and bit of sunshine though the white fluffy clouds, quite a stiff breeze from the west, grass needs cutting again.

 

Sunny intervals and hail stone showers and gusty winds from the west north west temp 9c feels like 5c

 

11 degrees, sunny spells and blowing a holey. Petals from the fruit trees like confetti all over the garden. Hope the pollinators got there first.

 

Blue skies meanwhile but winds so gusty, I saw literally the perfectly grown foxgloves breaking and staked the biggest ones

 

Today has been a real mixed bag! I’ve just driven for about 20 mins and had hail, full wipers on, then sunglasses on and also gusts of wind kicking up debris!

We're having a heat wave. It is up to 58f 13c which is perfect or checking the irrigation lines and doing any necessary repairs.

The guessers say it will be back down to freezing by week's end.

 

Got to 30c but there was a nice breeze and Ben the Gardener made it with several iced water stops followed by a relax in the shade with several beers.

 

The wind over the last few days has dropped to a breeze today. Mostly sunny with an occasional light shower. 8C/46F

If I put the washing out here, it would disappear!!!!! It's blowing a gale out there. I can hear a loose board bumping in the loft. Daen thing is keeping me awake!!

It is dry though. No sunshine yet.
