What's your weather like APRIL 2024

Very blustery bright but mostly cloudy 9c.

 

Nice bright start. O'night low of 5 degrees, and 6 just now [8.35.am] with a good breeze. Only a few mm of rain in the gauge from yesterday.
Predicted highs of around 10 or 11 today, with a few showers.
Yesterday got to 9, but gale force winds will have knocked that back a bit.

8C wet and windy here in Norfolk … the sun keeps peeking through but I’m not holding my breath …

 

Fancy getting a new patio set … you might have known that’d trigger bad weather … now we know who’s to blame …

 

Bright and breezy 8 degrees after overnight rain.

 

Had to rescue our trolibocs from the middle of the road last night ...

 

Windy with showers yesterday, after a warm, breezy and mostly dry weekend. Very drying for the garden - by Sunday afternoon it had started to lose its "sparkle" somehow. I think that's when the plants are taking up water faster than the rainfall is replenishing it. Looking better now after 8mm rain yesterday morning.

 

I wonder what today’s instalment of “Crazy April Weather’ will bring?



I am hoping to put bedding on the line which, similar to buying new patio furniture, will guarantee a downpour.

A couple of cold nights but I should be able to move the tomatoes to the greenhouse this weekend unless things change already had 150mm of rain this month, at least I've not had to water anything outside

 

I had to look up troliboc, never heard of them.

Other than checking my babies i the polytunnel I'm indoors all day on cake baking duty. Some of them need 3 or 4 days to mature and be ready for Saturday.
