What's your weather like APRIL 2024

Good morning. Rained most of the night and more to come. Ho hum!!

 

Very wet night. Still raining now!

Feels like we are stuck in a Groundhog Day loop!

 

Not raining at the moment but had lots in the night.

Cornwall.
A very chilly wind. Broken cloud with sun.We have just had a downpour.

 

Dry here at present, but light rain forecast later 8 degrees and the sun has vanished into the grey clouds.

 

Good steady rain all morning, forecast to stop this afternoon, brighten up about teatime and then dry (and warmer) tomorrow.

 

It's still January !

What plant fair are you Going to @AuntyRach ? If I'd have known about it, and it was within driving distance, it I might have gone

 

Very lucky here, the forecast was correct, brilliant sunshine and a gentle breeze

 

It's fined up now so I went out to have a look at the garden (all sparkly and fresh after the rain, and the lawn feed that I put down yesterday has washed in nicely, isn't it satisfying when things go according to plan?). I checked the gauge and we had more rain than I thought this morning - a whopping 21.5 mm!

 

Brilliant sunshine now and warming up a bit, it needs to, struggling to get to 10c all morning, 13c and rising.

 

we haven't got above 8c here

 

It has been a sunny, cloudy, gusty/windy day here and 18c.

 

I haven’t been to any flower show in all the years. Years of visiting classic car shows once a year were enough what crowds concerns
It was OH’s idea. I wouldn’t have spent the money on this but never mind. Going by bus at 5, arriving at Victoria Station is good. That prevents OH from buying stuff that no-where fits into the garden and into the bus on the way home

 

I'm like you @simone_in_wiltshire - I've had enough of crowded places, and I can't think of anything worse than visiting Chelsea.

You lot are getting the kind of weather that's pretty standard here for most springs.
Meanwhile, we're getting more of an eastern side of Scotland weather instead. First 3 weeks of April have made up for that though, and the last week has been more like May weather for us
