    I’ve adapted a childhood poem……..
    Rain rain go away
    Come back another day
But not on my gardening day

Heavy rain last night and this morning is clearer but the clouds are whipping by… wonder where they are going? I’ve peeped at the 10 day forecast and there’s not one day without rain at some point, so if any gardening (or washing) is to be done, it probably won’t be at a time of my choosing.

At the moment it's stopped raining and a gentle breeze from the west south west temp 11c feels like 10c.

The rain has stopped for now, we woke to bright sunshine, but that has vanished into the clouds, 6 degrees at the moment.

Cool-ish and damp (it's been raining earlier) but forecast no more rain until teatime so the washing is going out to take its chances.

It is up to 33f 0.5c and still cloudy but no precipitation yet. The guessers say we'll probably get snow later.

It's brightened up considerably . There's still cloud cover but it's quite thin and high - I can see hints of blue through it. My new plants arrived so I'll be off outside to pot them up as soon as I'm done with the day's work.

We have reached 22c but it is hazy sunshine now with barely the hint of the breeze. I have asked J to turn the irrigation on tonight, just comes on for half an hour 11ish acrros the Front Patio and Raised Patio. The Courtyard and Dining Patio pots he has to do by hand/hose ... that is the extent of his "gardening". :rolleyespink:

Turned out not great really, more cloud than sun and the odd light shower in the blustery wind, I suppose that is what passes as spring these days.:dunno:

Much the same here @pete, and quite a chilly wind this afternoon with the cloud, but good for getting on with various jobs. Have to do it while it's dry- the forecast is pretty dire for thenext couple of days.
At least I got the bedclothes dried outside!
