It's another cool start to the day here with clear skies but just 11C. We can expect sunshine during the morning but with the clouds increasing during the morning. Then just sunny intervals as the day goes forward. No rain expected today. 20C will be our max for today.

 

Gorgeous start to our week of hopefully better weather., sunshine and blue skies.

Hazy sun, calm, 21c going to the low 29s ... hopefully. We were still 30c at 11pm last night and kept the a/c going. Only just opened the windows. Under the Yellow high temp warning today.

Not good Vicky. It just reaffirms my recent thinking.....we have a lot to be thankful for here.

For me I don't have any complaints about our Summer..Ok yes it would be nice to have a bit more sunshine and maybe...just maybe, a bit more heat, but after last year's experience of living with extreme heat and a brown parched crispy landscape.....my mind has definitely decided....my heart is here in good old Blighty.
Now a couple of weeks of Winter Sun.....would be welcomed, but I also love our frosty mornings....true beauty of Winter.

 

Bright and breezy again after showers yesterday currently 14 which is ok.
I remember some 20 odd years ago holidaying in Turkey, it never dropped below 100 degrees for the entire two weeks, we spent a lot of time in the daytime hanging around open freezers in supermarkets, it was like walking into an oven when you stepped outside, never again. For a couple of days it hit 122 degrees.
