Good morning my friends

It was a fairly cloudy day yesterday here with few sunny intervals, during the af there were more. It's was quite windy as well.

The forecast rain arrived during the night and it is still raining now at 6am. We are forecast more rain during the day & there is a 60% posibilly of thunderstorms this evening! The wind is expected to become quite strong later.

Seems like October in August!

Yesterday was a lovely day even got to 20c, toaday 17c damp sun is trying to come through

 

I think you've got what we had during the early hours @shiney ...we couldn't sleep for the noise the rain was making!!




I hope @Jenny namaste is keeping out of the winds ....they are really picking up further along the coast here, we are hopeful just missing it all here.

Gonna empty the bird bath and take the hanging basket down and plonk it in the bird bath. It will have a bit more protection.The garden bench is bracing the tomatoes and we must ride out the storm as best we can.
Reminds me of typhoon in Honk Kong...really weird here in the UK ,
It's still very warm and almost humid down here in East Sussex,

It's now gone very dark here, all of a sudden...more rain is coming in and the breeze has picked up a tad now.

 

A gusty breeze, 18c going o mid 30s. High temp warning should end 10pm tonight.
