What's your Weather Like August 2023/Closed

Yes I did post the same last year. The trees were losing leaves due to drought through most of spring and summer. This year that hasn't happened. The seasons are different here, being further north they happen earlier than the rest of the country, summer being shorter too. Having said that, the start of leaf fall doesn't usually happen this early.

Good morning to you all on this sunny August morning! It seems like we can expect a lovely warm week ahead!

At 6am we now have 16C going up to 25C. No rain forecast for the next few days. Winds from the SSW for most of the week.

 

Very grey start I think it's due to brighten up later.
16c atm.

 

Another fine day ahead.

Hazy sun, 22c going to mid 30s, another hot day ahead with Orange High Temp Warning going into Wednesday now.

 

I can feel the light levels rising - the sun is only hiding behind thin cloud.No breeze this morning and it's 15.5C on the shaded patio right now.
Ooh - just seen a wee patch of blue sky...

We were still 25c at 7am!!!

 

It is 30.5c now and the Orange Warning has been extended to Thursday.

 

Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze from the south west temp 19c feels like 21c

 

Loads of sunny patches now and it's 21C on the patio , No wind. - it's gonna be hot later .

The forecast is for wall to wall sunshine, well driving back through the heavy rain it was that dark the auto headlights came on in the car!! No cutting the grass then.................
