What's your weather like August 2024

It sounded like we had a fair bit of rain overnight but my water butt isn’t all that full, so I’ll have to check the drain pipe isn’t blocked.

Dry with sunny spells today - well it had better be because I have a wash on!

We got a really lovely downpour around suppertime and it really cooled things down. It is only 67f 17c right now and totally cloudy. The guessers say we're going to get more free water, on and off during the day

Had some light rain driving over from Norfolk to Newark this morning . On our way down on the M1 back to Wales now sunny and loads of traffic !! Gardening tomorrow I expect .

I think we are in for a mixed bag this week - although it’s pretty pleasant currently.

The rain was less than hoped this morning.
While heading to Heathrow half past 9, I left a sunny Wiltshire, j12 it started drizzling, j6 it turned to intense rain, and j5 the rain was so heavy that all drove only 40mph. Looked like heading into Autumn. On the way back, the sky cleared at j13 and we arrived in sunshine and it was so warm inside the car that we had to open the windows. Back to summer again.

A pleasant enough day bright and breezy, still 16degrees, quite a lot done in the garden as it is forecast showery rain for the rest of the week, at least the grass seems to have stopped growing at the moment lol.
