Damp, cloudy start here with an o'night low of 12 degrees. [13 just now at approx. 7.15 am] and a predicted high of about 16. Mix of showers and cloud and sunnier in the evening, but the strong gusty winds are to be present all day again.

Yesterday was largely dry, with just a few spits and spots of light rain. The high was approx. 19, and there was a good wind to dry the washing. A little sun now and again too.

              Cornwall.
Apparently 2 nights ago we had a thunder and lightening storm which I must have slept through.
Today is heavy, overcast, not much breeze and looking like rain.

Top temperature 22°C today. Breezy, but still no rain!! Parents had plenty, on the South Downs, but, north Kent still dry.
                      Water butts are almost empty.

I've filled my 7 water butts 3 times recently with the hose.
But it's quite normal for me to have to do that at this time of the year, I've got lots of pots to water.

It is 57f 11c and the sun is beaming down. So lovely and refreshing and it is only going up to about 72f 25c so I've got my windows wide open and enjoying the fresh air :)

Very breezy, but pleasant sunny spells. Looks like rain tomorrow.

It's a good day for trying to dig over the rock hard ground that has cracks in it. I won't be fighting off the weather as I dig.
