What's your weather like August 2024

Mist hangibg over on the woods I can see on the top of the mountain I can see from my side of the Valley , no pink sky here never mind lots of gardening jobs for us to crack on with today, just a fine drizzle and quite low at the moment 15c . Cuppa tea first though .

 

Nice sunny start to the day, with a gentle breeze, the barometer is rising, so hopeful of a nice day 14 degrees at the moment.

 

Temperatures have been pleasant since Tuesday, but no proper rain. There's some in the forecast this afternoon. Hopefully it will be more than a few spits in the wind .

 

It is 34c with a light breeze but not comfortable enough to be out for long as UV is very high.

 

Its been slowly clouding up all afternoon and a gusty wind has sprung up, blowing pots over, its just started to drizzle.
Looks like mostly light rain on the radar, I hope so, the last thing we need is a deluge and strong winds.

Looking at the jetstream forecast, autumn starts middle of next week.

I guess we will be hoping for an Indian summer as usual, we always do, later, would be nice to get some kind of summer.

 

We are in Harrogate for a few days for our Nieces wedding at the moment weather poor 17c and rain from now until 1am at least it looks dry for the wedding tommorow fingers crossed.

Had a bit of rain today in the afternoon, still cloudy with a gentle breeze from the south west temp 16c feels like 17c.

 

A wonderful 27c now with a breeze. Sat out for an hour earlier.

Drizzled most of the day yesterday. It’s 15c can see some blue bits behind the grey clouds so fingers crossed. At least our hanging baskets got a good water yesterday .
