What's your weather like August 2024

Yesterday was 20C, steady rain and drizzle. Things start nudging up today (forecast 22) with a two-day peak of 29/30 on Sunday/Monday. Then mid-20s. I guess that will be it for the summer, as I agree with @pete and a few others that it has been decidedly autumnal this week.

 

Hazy sun, a light breeze, 20c going to low/mid 30s. We sat out last evening in our misting cooled Sandbar Patio.

 

Damp, windy start here with an o'night low of 13 degrees [14 just now at approx. 8.20 am] and a predicted high of about 17. It's to be a mix of showers/lt. rain and some sun, with very strong, gusty winds. It's just stopped raining, but plenty of cloud around, so it could be anything really.

Yesterday was fairly dry until about 1pm [bits and pieces of smirr], then it was smirry for a while, then more persistent by mid aftn. The high was 18 degrees, and it was a light breeze only, so not unpleasant to work in.

 

Glad we had an off day yesterday with a fair bit of drizzle and rain as it's hotting up and will be 27c and full sun on Sunday. Today will be pleasant at 22c and sunny intervals.

Seems quite windy lately and I have to keep sweeping up leaves as though it's autumn.

 

Ridiculous wind, 40mph constant but gusting 60 or more. Rip my pop up greenhouse

 

This was at noon and 30c ...



Now (at 12.20pm) it is 31,5c going up quickly.

 

A bright and breezy 19 degrees, it did rain a few drops and we may get some more, but this is good tommie ripening weather.

 

It’s breezy here, but the sun is very warm. Water butts much fuller after yesterday’s rainfall.

 

Since late morning its been hardly a cloud in the sky and 26c, 79f, bit of a wind blowing from time to time but lighter than yesterday.

 

Our high was 34.4c at three o'clock now 33,3c.

 

All day it's been sunny intervals and a moderate breeze from the west temp 19c feels like 21c. It didn't pass the 21c.

 

Beautiful drying day, my washing was dry in no time.

 

It's not too hot but it's been dry most of the time.
But it's the 2nd year that i haven't run out of rain water for the blue berry plants in pots.
