What's your weather like August 2024

Bright, but damp and cloudy start, but the wind has dropped. O'night low was 10 degrees [14 just now at approx. 7.45am] with a predicted high of about 22, as it's supposed to be bright and sunny all day...

Going by yesterday's weather through the morning, I'm not holding my breath though! It was wet on and off all morning, quite persistent for an hour, despite the predictions of it being dry and bright, but it cleared up later and was a mix of sun and strong gusty winds, so at least I eventually got the washing dry! The high was 18.

 

This morning was the first morning in I don't know when that the sun did not wake me by beaming in my eyes. Cloudy with the sun just breaking through. A humid 24c and absolutely still going to hot. The tractor is about to go round the orchard.

A complete white out! i cannot see the hill at the bottom of my garden. Very humid.

 

T'other Half just told me our overnight low was 23,7c at 2.30am ... we are actually 25,7c now st 8.35am but still quite overcast. It s weird as we normally have wall to wall blue.

 

Cloudy with a feeling of drizzle in the air. Supposed to warm up and be sunny later. Washing on in anticipation.

 

It's meant to be full sun, but it's full cloud! Hubby said we'd go for a spin today in Warwickshire to make sure it's still there. But I don't think he's looked out of the window yet.

Tomorrow should be the hottest yet at 29c.

No sun shinning but warm and pleasant out . Off to carboot soon local can’t beat a bit of rummaging .

 

The sun has popped out a couple of times but still overcast and only 29,4c I could tolerate more of this.

 

It's getting hot now. I need to go out and try to clean up some of the paint drips (OH has been doing the outside paintwork) then put all the pots back where they belong.

 

It’s still cloudy but it it’s gone very hot all of a sudden in the last hour. There’s a tiny breeze to make things less oppressive.
