We set off with a picnic towards the Cairngorms, as we got closer it got darker and darker, turned round and had the picnic in the living room, chuckin' it darn, but a mild 18 degrees.

 

It's been hot and breezy most of the day, and just when I was dead heading the Japanese anemones, I felt and heard the wonderful rain.

Wonderful here. High of 29.9c at 2 o'clock, now 24c and gusty/breezy so we have come in after two hours .. thinking of putting cardis on ... ... both cats came in with us! The best day of the summer for me so far.

 

23C today and humid, with mostly sunshine. It was pretty idyllic summer weather for us, if a tad too humid because of the still air. The forecast for the next week plus is dry and low 20s.

 

All day it was sunny with patchy cloud and light winds, temp 21c feels like 21c

 

A very nice day today - perhaps 22c and breezy. Sunny and some clouds.

Now awaiting the rain, which should go on all night - I hope so as it's bone dry and I didn't bother to water.

 

We've got rain! Fingers crossed it lasts all night but stops by 8 am.

We had a bit of rain but not much as it was still dry under my car. Should be dry for my day off tomorrow.
