This morning's rain forecasts were all well off script (no/little rain). 2/3rds of the day has been drizzle and 1/3rd heavy rain. It does make me wonder how they can all get it so spectacularly wrong? Having said that, I'm delighted. The garden needs it and I don't have to water pots! :yay: The peak was 23C, so muggy.

Still no rain and the garden is suffering. It reached 24C by lunchtime but since then it has been overcast and muggy. I hope it presages rain but it doesn't feel like it.

The drizzle we got continued until 4 but has just wettend the surface. Too little at the end.
Now, the sunshine is out again, around 19c outside, 24c inside.

I might have had a little snooze 3-4 and woke to blue sky.

It's drizzled just about all day, had another 2mm. It stopped long enough for us to eat outdoors. 21c now at nearly 8pm.

Thanks for the lovely walk in the glen @burnie. :)

After a thunderstorm on Monday the weather seems to have settled again, so perhaps the Indian summer has arrived that I spoke about some while ago. It's been sunny and breezy today with the forecast showing settled weather for the next week although the temperatures have dropped, becoming more autumnal. Today a maximum of 16C/61F.

Multi colours at sunrise today - more pink than my picture shows.
I only have a glimpse of East from my back garden unfortunately.

Cool, dry and fairly still now but rain coming later.
