What's your weather like August 2024

The forecast for warm, dry and not too windy, so I thought I'd take the wife with me fishing as a treat...................................
well they got the dry bit right and we had Gammon for tea, no fresh trout.

12C at the moment, forecast 22C with no rain. A pleasant day.

 

Wet , windy start, and an o'night low of 11 degrees [13 just now at approx. 7.45 am] with a predicted high of about 16 or 17, but the strong gusty winds again will push that back a bit. Supposed to clear up and be sunny spells later.

Yesterday the forecasted sun only made a brief appearance for an hour or so in mid aftn. Otherwise cloudy strong gusty winds most of the day, especially the afternoon. The high was 17.

 

It’s still and clear this morning - my outdoor chair cushions are covered in dew. varying cloud cover forecast today, up to about 20 only, but dry until Monday.

 

Well, what can I say. I am about as boring with the sun as those with the rain! Today will be horrible and the number 40 is mentioned. We shall go in the garden for a spell this morning (we don't get up till 9am) then inside in the a/c. Mad I hear you say ... sensible I say. Enjoy your days outside.

 

Bright and breezy with a lot of cloud and a chance of a shower, got to climb our big Birch tree to instal the new Bat box I made after the old one fell to the ground, I shall be using a ladder.

 

It’s 17c and climbing a bit here. It’s going to be a pleasant day will take our time driving back to Wales T time .

 

Here we are at 30c already!

Cooler day today 19c and cloudy.

 

Been mostly sunny all day, slightly hazy at times this afternoon.
