What's your weather like August 2024

We passed 30c at 11am but it is nice and breezy out there.

 

It’s a lovely day here - bit of haze and a bit of a breeze. A mixed week ahead.

 

Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the west temp 20c feels like 21c

 

Feels cooler today because the breeze is stronger than yesterday, so is taking the edge off the temperature a bit (19 C).

 

What a nice day it’s been , warm with a slight breeze to keep you cool . Must check our water butt by the side of the greenhouse after. Some dahlias in pots need watering .

 

It was fairly cloudy this morning but the sun came out around noon, its very hazy again but warm at 25c

 

If we had not sunshine most of the time, it feels colder in the shade than yesterday.

We got to 37.5c but are thankfully down to 35.7c with a hot breeze blowing. Also our Extremely High Heat Temp Warning has been extended again to 7pm on Tuesday!

 

Apparently the hazy skies we are getting are from fires in N. America, it does look a bit odd, the sky just like it did yesterday.

Did you think the pre-sunset time tonight was weird looking? A scarlet ball of a sun, still fairly high in the sky, set in a mushroom- coloured sky which was neither clear nor cloudy?

Wild fire smoke from Canada, brought over on the jet stream. Going to be a repeat performance tomorrow night, plus a super moon.
