What's your weather like August 2024

13c cloudy-ish with a bit of mist

 

Cloudy, breezy, damp start. O'night low of 10 degrees, and 13 just now at approx. 8.25am. Predicted high is about 15, as it's to be wet from mid morning or so, heavy in the afternoon and increasingly windy.

Yesterday was mostly cloudy and windy, with some sun breaking through for a couple of hours in the early afternoon, before some light rain came back in for a little while. High of 17, and cloudy all evening, with the wind settling a bit later on.

 

Sunny and very breezy here, 21c going to mid 30s and breezy. Still under the Extremely High Temp Warning through tomorrow.

 

Cornwall
Dark and overcast. Apparently it is because of the smoke from the wild fires in America.
Dry and cool.

 

Cloudy with a gentle breeze from the south south west temp 15c feels like 14c

 

Good morning all ,a cloudy day with a high of 19c .

 

Living room window open gosh the birds are quiet, well it is drizzling . Around 16c the forecast says will do a bit of pottering later but we have 2 figs ready to pick for breakfast up in the greenhouse first.

 

Gorgeous moon last night.

It will not go above 20c all week and there does seem to be some rain coming, but the forecast keeps changing. So I don't know what we're getting except it's dull and cool.

 

Brightish with a breeze and rain on the way 15 degrees, this won't ripen the tommies...............

 

We just reached 30c at noon. What a change from previous days. There is still a lovely breeze.

 

Question: How can you tell when there’s an August bank holiday coming up?
Answer: Rain and/or drizzle. Cold wind. Grey skies. Sweaters on.

 

I must have spoken too soon, because at 2.23pm we have reached 35c, now with a hot breeze!

 

Not as warm as recently, 23c with a wind starting to pick up.
We have a mixture of clouds and a white sky, been like that for three days now.
