That would be called a flood here!

According to the forecast it is raining here but nobody told the clouds overhead (yes, we do have clouds up there) that they are supposed to drop some water on us. One of the cats from next door is asleep on our patio and seems to be a better forecaster than the Met Office.

It is windy and nippy at the moment.

Heavy rain and much more coming all morning at least. 16c heading to 21.

My brugmansias are going to suffer, they are all in flower and bending over with the weight, rain and winds will take a few branches, same happened last year.

I remember why I stopped growing them, you spend all summer until they reach full flower and then the weather destroys them in a couple of hours.
Even though the plants survive the flowers and buds all end up battered and bruised.

Another rough night here with heavy rain and gale force winds. O'night low was 12 degrees [12 just now at approx. 8am] and drying uo a bit now, but still windy. Not as wet with the 'end of hurricane' as it was last Thurs/Friday though. The predicted high is around 15 or 16 degrees, with some sun coming through during the day before more rain later on this eve. To stay windy most of the day.

Yetserday wsn't too bad in the morning with some dampness, and mainly cloudy. The rain came in by about 12.30 and continued all day and through the night. Increasingly windy through the day too. The high was 14 to 15 degrees.

Very windy here too. Feels a bit like autumn has arrived. No rain so far, but predicted for 10 o’clock.
Had to put a brick on the almost empty litter bin. Let’s see if the bin collection gets the point.

No idea what the weather was like last night. I went to bed and crashed.
This morning is dull, grey, overcast, boring. depressing wet and very windy.
