What's your weather like August 2024

I’ve put washing on, so I am hoping the forecast of sunny spells and dry is correct.

 

It is now 31,5c with a hint of a breeze.

 

It was mostly cloudy all morning with a few spots of drizzle now and then, a bit brighter this afternoon but still lots of clouds around and a stiff wind making it feel cooler than the 22c on the thermometer.

 

Got to 33c, now 32c.

 

It was a decent day in the end. I’m just drying off my hair in the gentle breeze.

 

We are a "cool" 28c now, sat out for an hour in the mist ... pics tomorrow.

Yesterday's weather on the BBC website was 24c on Wednesday.

Yes they are slowly drawing back on it, it never did look like a heatwave set up to me
and only a two day wonder at best.

Fairly clear sky here but sun comes up late these days, 14.7c.

 

The problem is - weather can't be accurately forecasted for any great length of time in such a small country as this.
Another wet, windy start here. O'night low of 13 [15 just now at approx. 7.35am] with the heavy rain and gale force gusts to continue until mid afternoon, when it's supposed to clear up. The predicted high is around 17 degrees.

Yesterday was just a mix of smirr, cloud and some short spells of sun. The high was 16 degrees, briefly, before droppping for the rest of the aftn. and evening.

We're already at over 200mm for this month @shiney - 223mm, and more sitting in the gauge for today. Maybe I could rig up that hosepipe for you after all....
